Recreational camps for students: Outstandings departed NPT for the recreational camps

The 554 outstanding students selected from regions and states for 2023-2024 academic year departed from Ywadaw camp in Nay Pyi Taw to the designated recreation camps as per the school Grade in the morning on April 27th.
The Grade-9 outstanding students in Bagan Archeological Zone of Bagan Township, Grade-10 students in Taunggyi Township of Shan State, Grade-11 in Ngwe Hsaung Beach of Ayeyawady Region and Grade-12 students in Chaungtha beach outstanding student camp will take study tour as of 27th April.
The Grade-9 outstanding students who arrived at Bagan on 27 April were welcomed by Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint and officials, district and township education officers, teachers, students, and residents.
Those outstanding students will take relaxation in Bagan outstanding students recreation camp and take the study tour to the ancient cultural heritages, ancient architectural works, historic prominent places and environs together with the teachers.
The outstanding grade-10 students together with the teachers arrived at Kalaw Township of Shan State (South) in the morning on 27th April and the chairman of the Kalaw District Administration Body together with its members, officials from the Department of Education, students, and local ethnic people, welcomed the outstanding students by waving miniature flags along the roadside.
Outstanding students then visited Mawmyay-U Park and the Kalaw Clock Tower, followed by lunch at No 1 Basic Education High School in Kalaw. They also departed from Kalaw and arrived at Taunggyi Township’s No 1 Basic Education High School, where a camp for outstanding students was inaugurated.
A welcome reception for Grade-11 outstanding students selected for 2023-2024 academic year) who will visit Ngwehsaung camp and Grade-12 outstanding students who will visit Chaungtha camp was held at the Myanmar Convention Centre in Yangon on 27th April.
First, Yangon Region chief Minister delivered a speech. The chief minister hosted lunch for outstanding students, and the Scout Youth, Grade-11, Grade-12 outstanding students presented performances and the Chief Minister provided cash of honor.
Then, they proceeded to the outstanding students in NgeHsaung beach and Chaungtha beach recreational camps. At the start point to the Ayeyawady Region, the Region Minister for social affairs and officials welcomed the students.
In the evening, they arrived at Pathein Township and were welcomed by the Ayeyawady Region chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and Region Ministers, Region level departmental officials, students and teachers and the motorcade carrying the students continued its way to the NgeHsaung beach and Chaungtha beach recreational camps.
Along the study tour of the outstanding students, the respective responsible persons cooperated for the outstanding students for the happiness and convenience in the accommodation, food, health, study tour, water and electricity supply, cleaning and safety, it’s reported.
