Knowledge Sharing Program: To Raise Awareness On Anti-Human Trafficking

No.6 Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit (Yangon) held an awareness talks on anti-trafficking in persons at Yangon University of Education on Tuesday. At the event, an official from the Police Unit discussed the topics about anti-human trafficking law.

The event aimed to get the knowledge what issues can cause the trafficking in persons and how to protect from it, according to Pro-rector of Yangon University of Education.

Dr. May Myat Thu, Pro-Rector, Yangon University of Education said “We invited the officials from Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit to give awareness lecture about the prevention of human trafficking to our students. The students who will graduate from this university will serve as high school teachers in various regions and states. They can share the knowledge from this program to their students.This is also a knowledge sharing program that can benefit for the children in future.”

The event was attended by officials from Anti-Human Trafficking Police Unit, officials and students from the Yangon University of Education.
