Kayin State Day: SAC members join 67th Anniversary celebration

The 67th Anniversary of Kayin State Day falling on the 7th of November was celebrated at the Kayin State Government Office on Monday.

Members of the State Administration Council (SAC) Mahn Nyein Maung and Saw Daniel as well as union ministers and representatives from the KNU, KNU/KNLA (PC), DKBA and BGF joined the celebration.

This event began ceremonially and continued with reading out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. And, 100 solar power sets and sports gear were presented to the Kayin State Chief Minister.

The SAC members and high ranking officials also ceremonially opened the arch and booths in commemoration of the 67th Anniversary of Kayin State Day.

They also wished the Kayin State peace and prosperity and released 67 peace doves. And, the SAC members and officials viewed the booths regarding regional development, traditions, customs, regional products and Micro, Small and Medium enterprises.

This celebration also included the vegetable and fruit horticulture competition award ceremony along with a speech by the Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw MyintOo. And, awards were presented to winners in the competition.
