Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony: MCRD organized a donation ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development organized a Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. The ceremony was graced by 9 members of the Sangha led by Chairman of Township Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Sasana WaiPonla Sarthintaik Sayadaw.

Union Minister U Hla Moe and wife, the Deputy Minister and officers attended the ceremony, and received the five precepts from the Sayadaw. After listening the sermon, the Union Minister and party donated Kathina Robe and offertories to the Sayadaws. Over 17.4 million kyats worth offertories and cash donations were made during the ceremony.
