Jokowi to officiate groundbreaking VVIP Airport in Nusantara

Indonesia President Joko Widodo is confirmed to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the VVIP airport project at the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) on November 1st.

Minister of Public Works and Housing said on Monday that the airport is expected to facilitate investors in terms of accessibility to the City. So that it is a direct entrance to IKN. The government allocates up to 42.7 million USD for the construction. The VVIP airport will be used to serve government activities at the capital. The funding for the construction and the operation of the VVIP airport comes from the State Budget (APBN) or other sources stipulated in the related law and regulations.
