Japan's PM Takaichi meets with British counterpart Starmer in Tokyo

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with his Japanese counterpart Sanae Takaichi, in Tokyo on Saturday.

During the meeting, Starmer noted that Japan and Britain were the leading economies in a trans-Pacific as well as other international trade and defense pacts. Takaich said the two leaders agreed during discussions on economic security that a strengthening of supply chains including important minerals is urgently needed. They also discussed on working together to strengthen their collective security, across the Euro-Atlantic and in the Indo-Pacific.
