Japanese PM hopes for increased China ties on 70th anniversary of PRC founding

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday said he hopes to see a strong development of China-Japan relations as he offered his congratulations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China. Abe noted the strong cooperation that exists between the two nations, and said Japan is looking forward to enhancing these ties further. Abe believes both Japan and China hold major responsibilities to safeguard the peace and prosperity of Asia as well as the wider world. He also expressed his sincere wishes to the peoples of the two countries, saying he hopes to see prosperous development and a flourishing future for both nations.
