Japan PM highlights FOIP, semiconductor cooperation

Prime Minister Takaichi visited Viet Nam National University on Saturday afternoon and delivered a speech. Takaichi emphasized Viet Nam’s increasingly important role in global supply chains, noting that hundreds of Japanese companies are operating effectively in the country.

Building on this foundation, both nations aim to further deepen their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership while advancing the implementation of the Free and Open Indo-Pacific vision. She also highlighted bilateral and multilateral cooperation, particularly the Free and Open Indo-Pacific strategy.
