Japan Human Raised Monkey

A baby monkey called Punch raised by humans at a Japanese zoo has become a popular attraction, clinging to a stuffed toy orangutan that he has grown up with.

Punch was abandoned by his mother after she gave birth to him in July last year at Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba Prefecture and zookeepers decided to raise him through bottle-feeding. Since Punch was brought back into a monkey mountain on January 19, his adorable habit of holding on to the stuffed animal and dragging it along with him wherever he goes has made him a popular attraction at the zoo.
