Italian PM expands medical aid to Libya

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said his country will expand its support for Libya's health system including the building of hospitals and provision of medical workers.  "Italy will make an effort to build hospitals in Libya and send medical personnel but also receive dozens of children with cancer in our care in Italy," Draghi spoke at a joint press conference after hosting Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh in Rome on Monday.

He pointed out how Italy and Libya were already partners on a large scale in energy exchanges, but those remain mostly with traditional fossil fuels.
