Italian Conductor Claudio Vandelli visits Ashgabat

Italian conductor Claudio Vandelli visited Ashgabat as part of a program aimed at strengthening musical ties between Turkmenistan and Italy. Maestro Vandelli, known for his fruitful work with young musicians in Europe and Asia, held a series of events in the capital of Turkmenistan that combined educational initiatives and joint concert performances.

On the first day, an open casting was held in the cultural center of the Ashgabat Park for young musicians, playing string and wind instruments, to participate in the Pan-Caucasian Orchestra. Turkmen musicians annually make a significant contribution to this orchestra, performing under the direction of maestro Gianandrea Noseda and other renowned conductors and soloists from around the world.
