Istanbul is hosting a major international summit focused on global workforce policies, bringing together policymakers and experts to discuss the future of skills and employment.

The OECD 2026 Skills Summit, organised under the coordination of Türkiye’s Ministry of Labour and Social Security, is taking place on April 27 and 28. Held at the Halic Congress Center, the summit has drawn ministers and deputy ministers from nearly 40 countries. The event is being held under the theme “Unlocking Talent Across Generations,” focusing on inclusive and sustainable workforce development.
