Issuance of CSC and UID Cards:Taninthayi Region CM encouraged the staff and residents

Under the “La Min Project,” as part of the Government’s 100-Day plans for the benefits of the people, the issuance of Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSCs) and Unique ID (UID) numbers has been carried out by staff from the Immigration and Population Department Offices and the Dawei Township and Launglon Township for local residents and students from April 20 to July 31.

Monday morning, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Zaw Naing Oo and region ministers visited the sites to observe and encourage the staff, warmly greeted local residents and students, and personally handed over the completed Citizenship Scrutiny Cards and UID cards to them.

Under the “La Min Project,” as part of the Government’s 100-Day plans, services are being provided for those who have reached the age of 18 but have not yet received CSCs and UID cards for various reasons, replacement of CSCs for those turning 18, renewal of old or damaged CSCs, issuance of new CSCs for individuals aged 10 and above and collection of biometric data for the issuance of UID cards, it’s reported.
