ISS astronauts open hatch to Boeing spacecraft

Boeing's first Starliner capsule to the International Space Station opened for astronauts living on board the orbiting lab on Saturday.

The capsule had pulled up and parked at the ISS for the first time the previous day, a huge achievement for Boeing after years of false starts.

With Starliner’s arrival, NASA finally realized its longtime effort to have crew capsules from competing US companies flying to the space station.
