Israeli tanks and military vehicles operate in West Bank town of Burqin

Gunfire was heard as tanks and vehicles of the Israeli army were seen operating in the streets of Burqin, a town near the Palestinian refugee camp in Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank. 

Last month, the Israeli military announced the deployment of tanks in Jenin as part of an expansion of operations in the area. This marks the first time tanks have been used in the West Bank since the end of the second Palestinian intifada in 2005.
