Israeli police deployed water cannons and mounted officers to disperse demonstrators rallying overnight outside the Knesset in Jerusalem. At least ten people were arrested as demonstrators faced off with police. Police said protesters were causing a public disturbance to the residents who lived in the area.

Some 2,000 Israelis rallied outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence earlier on Tuesday and marched to the Knesset over his handling of a worsening coronavirus crisis and alleged corruption. Protesters want the five-term premier to step down. Netanyahu has announced numerous economic aid packages. But frustrated by red tape and a slow pace, many Israelis say the aid is coming too little, too late.
