Investment Committee Meeting: Sagaing Region Investment Committee Held Meeting (6/2022)

The Sagaing Region Investment Committee Meeting (6/2022) was held at the meeting hall of the region government in the morning on 28 July with the attendance of the Chairman of Sagaing Region Investment Committee Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, region minister for economic affairs Daw Yi Yi Than, region advocate general Daw Hla Hla Win, region government secretary U Khaung San, members of region investment committee, invited persons and officials concerned.

First, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw said that Sagaing Region has the good transportation access, extensive agricultural land, easy availability of workers and thriving of variety of crops. The collective effort is needed for the cent per cent operation of factories in the industrial zones including Sagaing Industrial Zone, Shwebo, Kalay and Monywa Industrial Zone and the inflow of new investments etc.

Next, the region investment committee secretary director of region directorate of investment and company administration Daw May Myo Zaw clarified the submission of application by the Great Sapphire Co, Ltd which will manufacture and distribute two wheels and three wheels motor cycles with the 100% investment of citizens and the status of the complete implementations upon the decisions made in previous meeting (5/2022) with Power Point.

Then, the regional cabinet members and investment committee members conducted general discussion regarding with the industries invested.

Afterward, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw tended the requirements on the discussions and gave a speech of conclusion.
