Investment Committee Meeting: Kayah State CM attended and delivered opening speech

The 1/2025 meeting of the Kayah State Investment Committee was held at the meeting hall of the Kayah State Government Office in the afternoon on September 17. The chairman of the Kayah State Investment Committee, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, the committee secretary and members, and investors attended the meeting.

Firstly, in his opening remarks, the chairman of the Kayah State Investment Committee, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, stated that Kayah State has now become stable and peaceful, and development projects are being implemented with momentum. He emphasized the need to continuously develop the agricultural sector, livestock and fisheries sector, electricity sector, industrial sector, hotel and tourism sector, and other service sectors without any interruption.

Subsequently, the committee confirmed the approval of the Committee secretary regarding the relocation of the business site of Treasure Corn Co., Ltd. Furthermore, the committee secretary clarified issues related to defining types of investment sectors suitable to the region and establishing criteria to assist and facilitate the invitation and implementation of investment projects.

Then, the committee members and investors who attended, clarified the conditions under which they would operate according to their respective sectors. The Committee Chairman Chief Minister discussed and provided additional guidance on the necessary matters, and delivered the conclusion remarks.
