Investment Affairs: Union Minister Encourages Investment Activities

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo on Saturday encouraged investment activities in Shan State.

First, the Union Minister visited the joint-ventured Myanmar Belle Shin- Shin Foods Co., Ltd. in Heho Township of Taunggyi District operating under the permission of Myanmar Investment Commission for dehydrateds export to Japan.

After hearing reports on the operation process, challenges and plans, the Union Minister stressed acceleration of local production, expansion of export data and cooperation with local growers. He also discussed with relevant departmental officials to help the Company tackle the chllanges it’s facing.

Also, in Baw Sai Village-tract in Kalaw Township, the Union Minister visited the lead purification site of the local fully-owned Top Ten Star Production Co., Ltd. There, the Union Minister heard reports on the lead purification process and challenges. He pledged to continue to provide assistance to overcome the challenges before visiting around the purification plant.
