International strawberry festival opens in western Türkiye

The sixteenth International Emiralem Strawberry Festival has opened in İzmir’s Menemen with participants from several countries highlighting the region strong agricultural production.

The festival scheduled to last three days began with a large turnout welcoming visitors from both Türkiye and abroad. All one thousand stalls set up for the event have been filled offering a wide range of local products from strawberries to broad beans artichokes and thyme.
