International Cooperation: Vice President receives Party Secretary in Xizang

Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, who is currently in Xizang Autonomous Region of China to attend the 5th China-Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation, received a delegation led by Mr. Wang Junzheng, the Communist Party Secretary of the Xizang Autonomous Region on Thursday.

They discuss matters to enhance cooperation on culture, trade, investment and renewable energy between Myanmar and Xizang Autonomous Region. They also exchanged views on accelerating heritage preservation efforts, technology exchange in agriculture and livestock sector and cooperation in traditional medicine and MSME development. 

In the evening, the Vice President attended a dinner reception honouringthe 5th China-Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation together with the heads of state and delegations from invited countries.
