











A visiting Myanmar delegation led by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the closing ceremony of International Army Games 2022 in Moscow on 27th August.
The Vice Senior General and delegation members, together with the attendees, viewed the display of booths at the House of Friendship in Alabino Training Ground. They later enjoyed the competing of tank crews from China, Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan in the final event of Tank Biathlon (Division-1).
In the event, Russian crew won first prize while the second prize went to Belarus and third prize to China. On behalf of the Russian Defence Minister, an official expressed word of honour, and thanks to the participating crews and the heads of the countries for sending the crews.
It was followed by the prize presentation to the winning crews at Tank Biathlon (Division-1), and entertainment programs. Tank crews from 37 countries participated in the International Army Games 2022, and it was hosted in 12 countries including Russia. Myanmar Tatmadaw took part in Tank Biathlon (Tank Crews Competition), Sniper Frontier, Military Medical Relay Race (Medical Staff Competition), and Army of Culture.
In Tank Biathlon (Division-2), Myanmar won first prize with the total record of 1 hour 36 minutes and 25 seconds among the 11 participating teams.
In Sniper Frontier, Myanmar ranked at 4 among the 7 participating teams, and ranked 4 at the Military Relay Race among the 16 teams. Myanma Tatmadaw Cultural Troupe also won first prizes in Instrument Playing Competition and dual singing competition (Russian song), second prize in the female single singing competition, third prize in dancing competition, a performance highlighting the country’s culture, Folk National Instrument playing competition and traditional culture gallery.
The Cultural Troupe also won first place in the People’s Choice Award online voting.
