Interior Minister visits Borodyanka to see recovery operations

Ukraine's Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky visited the town of Borodyanka, northwest of Kyiv, on Friday.

In footage released by Ukraine's State Emergency Service, the minister was seen observing the damage done to the town following Russia's military operation and he watched on as emergency service workers carried out search and clearing operations.

Rescue workers have begun digging through the rubble and in search of victims following the withdrawal of Russian troops from the area. Ukrainian authorities predicted more gruesome discoveries could be made in coming days after retreating Russian forces left.
