



Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Sunday afternoon met with Chairman of the Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central) in Yangon.
The meeting was also attended by high ranking officials, Vice chairmen from Buddhist Branch, Hindu Branch, Christianity Branch and Islam Branch and a representative from the Chinese temples. In this meeting, the Senior General said that they are temporarily serving the State responsibilities. The government is on the path leading to the Union based on democracy and federalism.
The Senior General also said that he often urged all to hold the free and fair election, to be honesty in the politics and not to commit the revenge. The fairness in the general election is of great importance for the State. Participation of the religious groups is needed in building the Union based on democracy and federalism. The national causes must be undertaken through the united strength of all.
The Senior General said he always urges all to avoid the religious extremism. Chairman of the organization (Central) Vice chairmen from Hindu Branch, Islam Branch and Christian Branch and the representative from the Chinese temples discussed undertakings of the organization, contribution to religious festivals and COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities and cooperation measures of the all religions on international relations.
