Inter-District Volleyball Tournament: MGY Region CM awarded the prizes to the winning teams

The final match and awards ceremony of the Magway Region Chief Minister’s Cup Under-25 Inter-District Men’s Volleyball Tournament was held Monday evening at the Region Indoor Stadium. The event was organized with the objectives to elevate the standard of Myanmar’s volleyball sports, to foster unity among various districts and strengthen the Union Spirit and to identify and develop talented new generation athletes.

Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko and officials attended the event to watch the final match between the Magway District team and the Pakokku District team. In a decisive victory, the Pakokku District team won the match in three straight sets.

Following the match, the Chief Minister and official dignitaries presented individual and team awards, including Best Blocker, Best Server, Best Setter, Best Spiker, and Best Defender. Trophies, medals, and cash prizes were awarded to the first and second-place teams.

The ceremony concluded with the Chief Minister and officials taking commemorative documentary photos together with the winning athletes, it’s reported.
