Inspections In Mon State: Union Minister for Border Affairs Fulfills Requirements

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung inspected the completion of repaved Wekali-Aaingshay Road in Wekali village-tract of Thanbyuzayat Township in Mon State. There, the Union Minister instructed to improve drainage system for the long-term sustainability of the road.

The Wekali-Aaingshay Road is contributing a lot to the development and socio-economic life of more than 1,700 people in Wekali village. The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to the Basic Education Middle School (branch) in Aaingshay village, held talks with the headmistress and teachers, and coordinated to provide needs for student halls, computers, solar panels and related accessories.

Also, the Union Minister inspected the Women’s Vocational Training School in Mudon and fulfilled necessary requirements. He also inspected the Mon State Development Supervision Office in Mawlamyine, Kyaikmaraw Township Development Supervision Office and staff housing.
