Inspection In Yangon: Inspection Of Machinery Workshop Of Myanma Railways

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San inspected the Machinery Workshop (Mahlwagon) of the Myanma Railways (MR) in Mingala Taungnyunt Township of Yangon Region.

There, the Union Minister heard report on production of rail equipment and hand-operated materials, maintenance of engineering equipment, department-owned machineries used in railway upgrade work and allocation of machineries. In his response, the Union Minister stressed production of quality materials to meet the demands of work sites, maintenance and importance of work place safety.

He also highlighted the need to ensure the skills of staff who operate the machinery and maintenance, Safety Equipment and preventive measures of COVID-19. The Union Minister also inspected the new rail-track maintenance equipment and other materials before giving instructions regarding the proper use of machinery and Function Test.
