







Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win conducted an on-site inspection of urban cleanliness and beautification tasks within Bago on January 28. First, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited the Bago River Crossing Bridge in the center of Bago City. He inspected the ongoing construction of a stone/concrete retaining wall, which is being built on a bored pile foundation to enhance the bridge's aesthetics and prevent riverbank erosion.
He provided guidance and instructions to the responsible officials regarding necessary requirements. Subsequently, the Region Chief Minister visited the site of Tha Mein Ba Ram Road in Otthar Myo Thit , Bago City. The road, which was previously a low-lying, waterlogged area, is currently undergoing construction works including the building of a 40-foot-wide earthen embankment, laying a 26-foot-wide gravel base, installing a 24-foot-wide concrete pavement, and constructing a 60-foot-wide concrete drainage pipe.
He instructed the responsible officials to complete the works according to the designated road designs within the specified timeframe and to properly ensure the structural stability of the road shoulders. Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister proceeded to the area near the Kyaik Pyinnyar Ya Pagoda in Bago, where the 64th Farmers' Day will be held grandly.
He inspected the ongoing preparations, including the educational and demonstration kitchen garden for farmers, plots for cultivating various crops, exhibition booths for crops, agriculture and livestock exhibitions, and the sites designated for MSMEs exhibitions. He then provided necessary guidance and instructions to the responsible officials.
