Inspection tour: Union Minister inspected locomotive assembling factory

The Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San together with the deputy minister inspected the new locomotive assembling factory (Nay Pyi Taw) and the Information Technology and Cyber Security Department in the morning on Thursday.

At the new locomotive assembling factory, the managing director of Myanmar Railway clarified the facts and capacity of the factory and the union minister instructed to turn out the skillful personnel continually and assign duty and the assembling quality meeting new locomotives as per target in line with the future vision and coordinated necessaries.

Next, the union minister and party looked around the maintenance of assembled machinery and equipments, utilizing status of them, implementation of assembling 1200 HP new locomotives, repairing of utilizing locomotives.

At the Information Technology and Cyber Security Department, the responsible official for the e-Government Department clarified the implementation of e-Government Data Center works as per the ministries, status of giving service and the implementation of constructing e-Government Integrated Data Center and the union minister instructed to finish the works within the timeframe and to give attention on the quality meeting of the building and coordinated necessaries.

Then, the union minister inspected the operation rooms of Security Operation Center (SOC) and e-Government Data Center. Next, the union minister inspected the construction of National Cyber Security Technological new office building and the instructed necessaries.

Afterward, the union minister and party inspected the construction project site of e-Government Integrated Data Center and the responsible official explained the status of implementing the project, plans for construction of buildings and the union minister instructed requirements.
