Inspection Tour: Union Minister Inspected Animal Feed Factory

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe together with member of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Zayyar Lin and officials inspected the regional development works in Nay Pyi Taw Council area on 5th April.

First, the union minister and party visited an animal feed maize pickle factory of Nay Pyi Taw Cooperative federation in Tha-Htay-Gone Village in Pyinmana Township and met with the livestock breeders from the cooperative federation. At the meeting, the union minister highlighted the vital role of the livestock breeding for the food security, urged to the locals in the livestock breeding sector and the assistances to be provided by the Ministry.

Next, the staff officer of the Cooperative department in Nay Pyi Taw Council area clarified the work implementation with Power-point, the union minister tended the requirements and inspected the operation of the factory.

Afterward, the union minister and party inspected water pumping from Hsin-Thay Creek with solar energy to supply irrigation water for the 21.5 acres of agricultural land owned by three farmers in WeGyi Village, Zayyarthiri Township.

The union minister explained the implementation of water pumping system with solar power to save the cost for fuel and cultivating in all seasons and the benefits from the water pumping project such as acquiring adequate water resource, high yielding of crops, generating extra income for the family and the union minster inspected the work implementations.
