Inspection tour: MoI Union Minister inspects No 1 Steel Mill

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than inspected No 1 Steel Mill (Myingyan) in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region on 17 April.

Firstly, the factory manager explained the process of Phase-1 and the restart of the steel mill project at the meeting hall of No 1 Steel Mill (Myingyan).

Afterwards, the Union minister called for efforts to research marketing analysis, calculate production, cost, value and profit systematically, and arrange for production in set standards.

He instructed them to prepare firefighting aids in hand for fire prevention and conduct fire extinguishing training.

Then, Union Minister Dr Charlie Than discussed the detailed process of business plan and project management drawing, made a tour to Melt Shop 1 of steel smelting work, and encouraged staff.
