Inspection Tour: MoBA Union Minister inspected regional development works

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung together with the Kachin State minister for security and border affairs Col. Aung Kyi Lin and officials visited Training School for the Ethnic Nationalities Youth from Border Areas in Puta-O Township on 13th November and inspected the dormitories, mess hall, library and staff housing and fulfilled necessaries.  

Then, the Union Minister inspected the construction of three-storey dormitory and instructed to complete in time within the specified fiscal year, to meet the qualities and standards and carry out the cleaning of worksite when the works are completed.

In the morning on 14th November, the union minister and party visited people’s hospital in Naung Mon Town, comforted the patients, provided cash assistance, inspected the compound of the hospital and coordinated necessaries for the hospital and the township development.

Later, the union minister met with the staff of Naung Mon Township Development Supervising Office, provided cash assistance and inspected the office compound.

Next, the union minister and party inspected the status of maintaining the road constructed along the Naung Mon-Ma Gwe Za-Khaung Lan Phu Road and the repairing and maintaining works of gravel road, bridges, Stream culverts and instructed to complete in time and to meet quality standards.

In the morning on 15th November, the union minister and party inspected the land areas of extended wards of township for the development of Khaung Lan Phu Town, construction of town circular road, completion of renovating Township hall and the status of selling by opening shop stalls in Myoma market and coordinated with the township administrator and towns elders for the development of the township, it’s learnt.
