Inspection Tour: MoALI DM made inspection tour in Magway

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut on September 16th met with the departmental officials and farmers from Magway Region at the meeting hall of the Agricultural Department Office in Magway.

The meeting aims for getting enough foodstuff within the region through paddy plantation. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister stated the ministry’s efforts on supporting necessary technologies and other assistance to the farmers under established laws and procedures emphasizing to conduct sustainable foodstuff sufficiency in Chauk and Yay Nan Chaung Townships. 

And, the farmers are urged to clutivate qualified seeds to meet targeted yields for country’s food sufficiency. After hearing the reports by the officials, the Deputy Minister fulfilled the needs. The Deputy Minister and party later proceeded to Neem Pesticide Factory owned by Agriculture Department, inspected the factory operation processes and gave necessary instructions.

And the Deputy Minister visited Department of Agricultural Research (Magway), inspected the working processes and gave necessary instructions on systematic management of research processes.
