









Vice-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, accompanied by Deputy Ministers Daw San San Nwe and Dr. Thant Zaw Lwin, Region Ministers, and officials, Tuesday visited the School for Disabled Children, the Disabled Children Care Home, the Women's Development Center, the Women's Vocational Training School, and the School of Domestic Science for Women in Yangon.
At the School for Disabled Children in Mayangone Township, the Vice-President was submitted reports by the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Social Welfare on caring the disabled children and the school’s current operational status. The Vice President coordinated the requirements and later donated the funds for the school.
Afterward, the Vice-President and officials inspected the school where they supported the disabled children and instructed officials for better caring and welfare of the disabled children. Next, the Vice-President visited Women's Development Center in Kamayut Township where officials explained about the functions of the center.
The Vice President coordinated the requirements and presented cash for the women’s centre. The Vice-President and officials then toured and inspected the center and provided further coordination with officials on necessary matters. Similarly, the Vice President and officials visited the Women's Vocational Training School in Bahan Township where the principal explained about the school activities.
The Vice President later presented cash assistance and inspected the school premises. Afterward, the Vice-President and officials visited the School of Domestic Science for Women in Bahan Township. They toured the school and inspected the training courses as well as the day-care nursery school, and provided necessary guidance to the responsible officials, it’s reported.
