









President U Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by members of entourage, conducted inspections of regional development and national economic promotion efforts in Magway Region, Monday afternoon.
First, the President arrived at Magway Hybrid Power Company near Thabyay San Village, Magway Township, where he was warmly welcomed by Project Director U Tin Maung Latt and responsible officials.
At the company's briefing hall, the Project Director presented information regarding the 100 MW (Gas Engine + Solar) Hybrid power plant project, which utilizes natural gas and solar energy for electricity generation, including current implementation status and future operational plans. The President asked follow-up questions and provided necessary guidance on the presentation.
Afterward, the President toured and inspected the ongoing project implementation activities within the site and gave further instructions to officials based on their reports.
Subsequently, the President and officials arrived at the Kaung Ko Group Company Limited near Gway Tauk San Village, at the Kanpya Intersection on the Magway–Nay Pyi Taw Road. Company owner Daw Moe Moe Myat Ko explained the company's history, its production and export of 90% refined sesame seeds and roasted sesame powder to international markets, current operations, challenges faced, and future aspirations.
The President provided guidance on the presentation and then inspected sesame production operations within the factory, asking questions and discussing matters with officials.
After that, the President and officials visited the Shapin Hla Agricultural and Livestock Zone in Shapin Hla Village Tract, Magway Township. At the briefing hall, regional-level officials presented information on the implementation status of the livestock zone in Aunglan Township, Magway Region, details regarding the Shapin Hla Agricultural and Livestock Zone, and current operational activities within the zones.
In response to the presentations, the President advised that since Magway Region produces maize, beans, bran, and broken rice, animal feed required for livestock operations should be produced and utilized locally. He emphasized the need to carry out activities successfully and provided further guidance on other necessary matters.
The President then inspected the systematic land reclamation within the agricultural and livestock zone, water supply arrangements, seedling nurseries for various paddy varieties, and layer chicken farming operations. He gave necessary guidance and instructions based on reports submitted by responsible officials, it’s reported.
