Inspection of preparations: Pre-monsoon season tree planting to be organized

The Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi inspected the land plot (6.8 acres) to be planted trees with 2022 pre-monsoon season public campaign at land plot lot (13) in Yan Aung Myay forest reserve, Lewe Township in the evening on 24th March.

The director general of the forest department and officials concerned clarified the preparations and arrangements for the pre-monsoon season tree planting public campaign. 

Next, the union minister inspected the stakes driven as per land plot and line for the tree planting.

In this land plot, a total of 3672 trees including shady trees, bamboo and forest trees of 2 feet and above will be planted. In coming May and June, over 227,000 trees will be grown as 2022 pre-monsoon season tree planting public campaign, it’s reported.
