






Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development, U Hla Moe, accompanied by relevant officials, visited Min Yatt Kwin village in Myothit Township, Magway Region, in the morning on June 11.
There, they inspected the model summer paddy plantation of farmer U Zaw Win Naing, a member of the Yinnar Kone Agriculture and General Business Cooperative, who cultivates the "Aung Naing Toe" high-yield paddy variety.
The township cooperative officer and member farmers presented on the status of summer paddy cultivation. In response, the Union Minister instructed them to strictly adhere to correct cultivation techniques as they are producing high-quality seeds and coordinated on necessary matters.
From there, the Union Minister, the Regional Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, and officials attended a ceremony at the Magway City Hall for providing agricultural inputs, connecting with farming services cooperatives for ploughing, and handing over funds for the Village Development Project (VDP).
They delivered speeches, and after officials provided clarifications, they coordinated and fulfilled the necessary requirements. Following this, the Union Minister, the Chief Minister, and Region ministers provided high-yield paddy seeds, seeders, and input fertilizers to 49 agricultural cooperative societies within the region.
They also handed over a total of 285 million kyats, at a rate of 15 million kyats per village from the state-supported fund, to village representatives for the Village Development Project (VDP). Next, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, and officials inspected the livestock zone in Shar Pin Hla village, Magway Township.
They then attended the closing ceremony for a basic motorcycle maintenance technology course in Lyaung Taw Oo village, Magway Township, where the Union Minister delivered a speech of training completion. Subsequently, the Union Minister and party went to the office of the Department of Small-Scale Industries in Magway Region.
They met with staff from the departments under the ministry, delivered a speech, and coordinated to fulfill the needs presented by the staff. Later, the Union Minister and officials traveled to Kan Pyar village and observed a farming services cooperative ploughing 4.4 acres of farmland belonging to farmer U Tun Win, a member of the Kan Pyar Agriculture and General Business Cooperative, with tractors. They provided encouragement and gave necessary instructions.
