Inspection in Mandalay : Repository museum upgrading & meeting with faculties

Member of the State Administration Council U Maung Ko, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn and Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung inspected upgrading of the Repository of Buddha scriptures Museum of Maha Muni Buddha Image in Mandalay on Monday and met Rectors, Pro-rectors, region/district/township education officers, high school and middle school principals and presented commemorative books and handbags.

On arrival at the work site for upgrading of repository museum of Maha Muni Buddha Image, officials conducted around them and coordinated essentials. The palm-leaf inscription, parabeik and Kanmawa that will be displayed in the museum have been kept systematically.

After that, the SAC member U Maung Ko, the Union Minister for Information the Mandalay Region Chief Minister attended the meeting with the rectors of universities, principals from the basic education schools and the teachers at the City Hall of Mandalay City Development Committee in the morning on February 20.

First, the SAC member U Maung Ko addressed the opening speech.Next, the Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn and Chief Minister U Myo Aung gave the marks.Then, the SAC member U Maung Ko, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn and the Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung presented memorable gifts to the teachers.

Afterward, the Rector of Yatanapon University and the deputy director general from the Mandalay Region Education Office expressed words of thanks on behalf of the teachers.Then, the SAC member and party cordially greeted the teachers attended, it’s learnt.
