Inspection of Maintaining MEVMs : UEC member inspected Taungoo District office

A member of the Union Election Commission, U Aung Myint Lwin, along with responsible officials, arrived in Taungoo Township, Bago Region, on the morning of May 28. They inspected the systematic storage and maintenance conditions of the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machines (MEVMs) that were used in the 2025 General Election within Taungoo District.

Afterward, at the meeting hall of the Taungoo District Sub-Election Commission Office, they met with officials from the sub-township election commission offices within Taungoo District. On that occasion, district and township election officials clarified and presented the election processes being carried out by district and township, the measures taken to ensure the completeness and accuracy of voter lists, and various election-related matters by sector. The Taungoo District Election Commission official also provided supplementary explanations and presentations. 

Subsequently, UEC member and responsible officials coordinated and addressed the necessary matters in response to the presentations, it’s reported.
