Inspection of La Min Project: NPT Council Chairman inspected La Min Project

The Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, U Kan Myint Than, visited the Township Department of the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw, Monday afternoon, to inspect and encourage the progress of issuing Citizenship Scrutiny Cards and UID numbers under the government's 100-Day La Min Project.

He provided necessary guidance to responsible officials and handed over Citizenship Scrutiny Cards and UIDs to the public. Subsequently, Chairman U Kan Myint Than attended a field demonstration of soil preparation and ploughing using new technological equipment from the Department of Agricultural Machinery at the farmland of farmer U Thein Saung in Wakkamu Village, Lewe Township.

He also observed the sale of urea fertilizer to summer paddy farmers for the 2025–2026 season. After that, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited the GAP Model Farm of the Horticulture and Plant Biotechnology Division under the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, in Pyinmana Township. He met with responsible officials at the briefing hall, provided necessary guidance, and inspected the cultivation of oyster mushrooms and other crops, it’s reported.
