





The Union Minister for Immigration and Population, U Myint Kyaing, along with Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Deputy Minister Dr. Myo Than, and officials, visited No (2) Basic Education High School in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw, on December 23.
There, staff from the Lewe Township Staff Officer’s Office were seen issuing Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSC) and e-ID cards with Biographic and Biometric data, along with a Unique ID number containing 10 digits. This work was carried out as part of the third phase of the Pan-Khin project under a one-stop service system, where citizens' data was processed.
The Union Minister and the team later met with the school principal and teachers to inquire about the operational needs. It was discussed that all students who meet the age requirements will be eligible to receive Citizenship Scrutiny Cards and documents with Unique ID numbers.
Afterward, they cordially greeted them. Next, the Union Minister, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, and officials visited the Lewe Township Staff Officer’s Office, where office staff were providing one-stop service for issuing Citizenship Scrutiny Cards and collecting Biographic and Biometric data, while assigning Unique ID numbers. The Union Minister observed the process in One Stop Serviand discussed challenges and needs with the local residents.
Solutions were coordinated with the responsible officials. The Union Minister and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman then visited the office and inspected the organization and management conditions. Relevant officials provided further clarification, and the Union Minister directed them to ensure the systematic checking and monitoring of the processes.
Following this, the Union Minister and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman visited the Nay Pyi Taw Industrial Zone in Dakkhinathiri Township and observed the production processes at the Dry Bamboo Shoot Factory, operated by the Narindara Company Limited.
The factory In-Charge, Daw Nan Khin Ohn, explained the various stages of the factory's operations. Later, in the factory hall, the factory In-Charge clarified the establishment of the factory, the global market conditions for dried bamboo shoot, and the current export process to Japan.
They also explained the establishment of bamboo farms to supply raw materials for the factory. The Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman addressed the factory's operational needs and offered coordination to meet the necessary requirements.
