Inspection of Football Field: MOC Chairman inspected sports field

Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with accompanying officials, inspected the Nyaungshwe Township sports field in Kalaw District, Shan State on September 8.

First, the Union Minister and officials inspected the Nyaungshwe Township sports field and instructed officials to take the necessary steps to keep the football field clean and beautiful.

Following the inspection, the Union Minister, accompanied by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and other state government ministers, attended the third-place match of the 2025 Shan State Chief Minister's Cup U-25 Women's Football Tournament, which was held at the state sports field.

The match, which was a tight contest, was played between the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone team and the Danu Self-Administered Zone team. The Danu team won the match with a score of 2-0, it’s reported.
