Inspection of Development Works: Kayah State CM inspected regional development works

As part of the Kayah State Government's efforts to successfully implement regional developments, the Chief Minister, U Zaw Myo Tin, inspected the completion and ongoing implementation of several development works including a model pig farming site, a crop drying factory, departmental offices, and staff housing, as well as beautification efforts around Naung Yar Lake, in the morning on September 17.

The Chief Minister and officials first visited the model pig farming site, which was established to support the development of the livestock sector in the state and to serve as a demonstration and training center for livestock entrepreneurs. The Head of the State Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department gave a briefing on the implementation and operations of the facility.

The Chief Minister provided guidance on the operations of the model pig farm. He also inspected the condition of experimental paddy fields of Aung Naing Toe paddy strain cultivated by a local farmer, U Palar Ral, from Yay Ni Kan Village, and visited the branch office for apiculture and the base queen bee breeding center to check on the condition of the bee colonies. Additionally, he visited the Treasure Corn crop drying factory to inspect its operations and provided necessary instructions.

Following this, the Chief Minister visited the State Livestock and Veterinary Department offices to inspect the repair and reopening status of state and district offices and staff housing that had been damaged by the act of terrorists. Officials briefed on the progress of the repair work and the reopening of the offices. The Chief Minister gave instructions to address any remaining needs.

After that, the Chief Minister visited Naung Yar Lake, where he inspected the ongoing construction of market stalls intended for public recreation and the sale of local souvenirs. He instructed responsible officials to ensure the cleanliness and beauty of the lake and its surroundings, to systematically arrange the stalls, and to complete all work within the designated timeframe. Necessary coordination was also carried out to ensure the success of these efforts.
