Inspection of Development Projects: Kayah State CM inspected development projects

As regional development projects continue in Kayah State, Chief Minister U Sein Oo, accompanied by the Regional Operations Commander, members of the state government, and departmental officials, arrived at No. 7 Military Hospital (100-bed) in the morning on Monday. During the visit, the Chief Minister presented honorary cash awards and warmly greeted a mother and her newborn baby born on the 74th Kayah State Day. He also donated funds for general use at the military hospital, which were accepted by the officials in charge.

The Chief Minister and officials, then proceeded to the Loikaw Township Court to inspect ongoing construction projects funded by the state’s supplementary budget. These projects include a 130ft x 50ft single-story reinforced concrete building for the Loikaw Township Court and a 30ft x 20ft two-story building for the storage of court evidence.

During the inspection, officials provided briefings on the progress of the work. The Chief Minister issued instructions to ensure that the projects are completed within the set timeframe and meet prescribed quality standards. He urged an increase in manpower and working hours to expedite progress and emphasized that relevant departments must supervise both field construction and administrative paperwork to ensure timely completion.

Following the briefing, the Chief Minister and officials toured the construction sites of the township court and the evidence storage facilities.

Additionally, the award ceremony for the 74th Kayah State Day Commemorative Golf Tournament was held Sunday evening at the Kandayawaddy Golf Club. The event was attended by Chief Minister U Sein Oo, the Regional Operations Commander, the State Chief Justice, state government members, and participating golfers.

The Chief Minister presented medals and prizes to the winners of the individual and team competitions. Subsequently, the Regional Operations Commander, state government members, and other officials presented awards to winners in various categories. The tournament, held on January 17 and 18, featured a total of 86 contestants, it’s reported.
