Inspection of Construction Works: YGN Region CM inspects construction works

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, accompanied by members of the Region Government, conducted a field inspection to oversee regional development progress in Thongwa Township on January 20.

First, the Chief Minister and officials arrived at the construction site of the Nam Yaw Chaung Bridge (252 feet long), located on the Thongwa Bypass Road in the Padat-htaing Village Tract. After officials briefed him on the project's progress, the Chief Minister instructed them to ensure the work meets prescribed quality standards and to accelerate efforts to ensure completion within the current fiscal year.

The Chief Minister and officials then proceeded to inspect the progress of works carried out by Bridge Special Task Force (11), Construction Group (3) of the Department of Bridges, Ministry of Construction and the construction of the Thongwa Bypass Road being implemented by Road Special Task Force (14), Construction Group (4), by vehicle:

Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction of the Ku Nan Taw Kyar Bridge (70 feet long). This bridge, located on the Bago–Thanatpin–Kayan–Thongwa–Thanlyin Road in Thongwa Township, is being constructed using the Union Capital Fund for the 2025–2026 fiscal year by Bridge Special Task Force (11). Following the technical briefings by officials on-site, the Chief Minister provided the necessary guidance to ensure the successful completion of the project.
