Inspection of Construction Works: Yangon Region CM inspected construction works

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and region ministers conducted a field inspection of the development progress in Thone Gwa Township on the morning of September 16.

First, Yangon Region Chief Minister and officials inspected the ongoing excavation work of a 0.8-mile road drainage project in Bagan Taung Village Tract, along the Thone Gwa-Khayan Road, funded by the Yangon Region General Fund for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. He issued necessary instructions to the responsible officials.

Subsequently, Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction progress of the 252-foot-long Nanyaw Creek Bridge on Thone Gwa Township Bypass Road in Padathaing Village Tract, as well as the 220-foot-long Padathaing-Nanyaw Bridge. After officials briefed them on the current status of the projects, the Chief Minister provided further instructions.

Later, at the briefing hall of the Thone Gwa Township Bypass Road construction project in Thone Gwa Township, Director of the Region Road Department, presented a PowerPoint overview of the work completed by the Ministry of Construction’s Bridge Department, Construction Team 3, and Special Bridge Team 11, as well as the progress of the Thone Gwa Township Bypass Road construction by the Construction Team 4 and Special Road Team 14. The Chief Minister instructed that the projects be carried out neatly, efficiently, and expedited to ensure early completion within the fiscal year.

After that, Chief Minister and officials attended the opening ceremony of the FIRE DRAGON FUTSAL OPEN CUP at the MFF Futsal Stadium in Thuwunna, Yangon. At the event, Fire Dragon CEO U Kyaw Win Tun and Myanmar Futsal League Committee Chairman U Kyi Min Shein cut the ribbon to open the tournament. Speeches were given by the Chairman of the Myanmar Futsal League Committee, and Fire Dragon’s National Event and Activation Manager, U Myo Min Lat.

Then, the Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials watched and cheered on the friendly match between FD TEAM FC and ACTOR FC, it’ reported.
