Information Media: MOI Union Minister tours Sagaing and Mandalay

Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin inspected media and printing works in Sagain and Mandalay Regions on Saturday.

During the visit, the Union Minister viewed the chosen site of new office building of Sagaing District Information and Public Relations Department, operation process of the Relay Station of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) on Sagaing Hill, news production at MRTV Mandalay Bureau and printing of dailies at the Mandalay Branch Printing House of News and Periodicals Enterprise.

The Union Minister also visited the Community Center of Mandalay District IPRD and encouraged the discussion event by Book Club members. During the visit, the Union Minister met with the officers and staff under the ministry, and urged to strive for disseminating knowledge on agriculture and livestock sector for rural community, while providing accurate news for general public through media.
