Information and Public Relations: MOI Union Minister makes inspection tour

During the inspection of the Information and Public Relations Department Office in Hsihseng of Pa-O Self-Administered Zone on Thursday, Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin instructed officials to provide comprehensive information on government activities and public welfare initiatives, ensuring that local people are well informed and understand them.

During the visit, the Union Minister inspected records of damage to the office building, as well as the library and children’s reading room. The Union Minister later proceeded to No.1 Basic Education High School in Hsihseng and encouraged the students at the school library and classrooms.

He then inspected the display and sale of books and publications at the Sarpay Beikman Bookshop in Taunggyi. In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited the Yamethin District Office in Mandalay Region and inspected the library, children’s reading room, and local museum.

He instructed staff to support local economic development as much as possible through media coverage of local businesses, agriculture, livestock breeding, MSMEs, and One Region One Product initiatives, including highlighting local products and sharing producers’ experiences and success stories.
