




Aiming for the development of Myanmar’s industrial sector, to manufacture more industrial products and to create job opportunities for the youths, the Ministry of Industry has opened 6 industrial training schools and industrial subjects have been given to the trainees.
In addition, with the support of the international partner organizations, more than 1,000 industrial skilled workers are being trained and have been turned out. With the India’s help, plans are underway to open more industrial training schools in Monywa and Thaton Townships.
16 kinds of industrial vocational subjects are being given as the industrial training courses. Depending on the needs of the regions and states, industrial vocational subjects such as iron welding, welding using gas, electrical, motorcycle repair and automobile maintenance training are being offered in respective regions and states.
1,381 trainees have been successfully turned out from the 11 training courses that have been recently opened at the No.3 Thar Ga Ya industrial training school, located in Thar Ga Ya industrial zone, Yay Tar Shay township of Bago Region. The industrial professional course No. 12 was opened since 9th December 2021 and 121 trainees had been trained with the training courses such as machinery ,CAD, CAM, electrical, electronics and foundry subjects.
