Industrial Sector: Union Minister visits Supervisory and Inspection Dept.

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than visited the Rakhine State Industrial Supervisory and Inspection Department in Sittwe of Rakhine State. During his visit, the Union Minister heard report on matters including issuance of industrial registration certificates, inspections of private industries to carry out manufacturing activities safely and assistance for the MSME industry development.

In his response, the Union Minister stressed inspection of private industries and the need for industrialists to coordinate for private industrial registration. He also called on concerned officials to provide necessary assistance for the MSME industry and human resource development as well as to sharpen the skills of governmental employees.
